Light needs Darkness.
Everything needs contrast Happiness would be worthless without sadness Peace without war. We can't value ignorant bliss truly without experiencing the pain that the cruel truth of the knowledge that the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. We can't let the darkness in our life cause us forget the light that must be there to cast those shadows. The light protects us, helps us, guides us, in return we must suffer the pains of life and surviving. In the end it will all be worth it. That is what I tried to get across in this. Seriously never know how to categorize these I am happy with the poem, it was random inspiration while talking about music with a friend, in particular the song Love Is Blindness. My poem, don't steal please. |
